These pieces are pulled from the work I’ve made in my Intro to Ceramics class this semester. Most were thrown, except for the slab-built two-tone mug. Although I began creating pottery in high school, this class inspired me to push my artistic boundaries further. While some of my works are primarily form-focused, I have made an effort to incorporate visual design elements, particularly through line carvings. By etching patterns into my pieces and selecting glazes that enhance their individuality, I strive to create visually engaging works that reflect both my appreciation for ceramics and my passion for design.
